This was my first time trying the banana pudding and I loved it! Just the right amount of sweet for me. Is the decor lacking and bit? Yes, but I didn't plan on dining in anyway.
This bakery is always a convenient cute place to stop at after shopping in The Loop! My friend and I tried the cold brew banana bread pudding. It was really sweet soft fluffy and creamy! I would definitely want to try other flavors. The service is friendly and quick.
Just me and my sweet tooth again. They have a pretty large selection of treats. I decided on the banana pudding and vanilla cake. Great call! The banana pudding was good but I've had better. Now onto the vanilla cake, it was delicious. Moist, not overly sweet, perfect amount of icing. Lord the cake was delicious. The bakery is an okay size and staff were very helpful. They answered all questions and kept the line moving quickly. I'll be back for sure!
Amazing place to try Coffee and Banana pudding. There could be a line when it's busy. But they are very efficient.
I'm from Detroit and this by far was better than any bakery I have had. Their baked goods are made from scratch with the best German chocolate cake i have had other mine. It tasted likes homemade German chocolate cake which NEVER happens with a store or bakery bought cake. I tasted mine and immediately went back in to get another piece for the road. Everything my family purchased that day said it was the best they ever had from the cheesecake to the double chocolate. They had wonderful customer service and the display made u want to try everything. I really wish they would bring one to Detroit ASAP!
Ofc I had to check out the infamous Magnolias Bakery while in Chicago. I was so happy to make it here & get to taste their banana pudding! I'm a banana fanatic. Anything bananas i super super love, so trust my word when I say it's a lovely sweet treat. The small size is all you need, you may even have some leftover. Though it is a good dessert, it's not what i think people make it out to be. You can probably recreate/ make it better at home. So just an fyi. Four stars bc it's def something to eat just to say that you've tried it butttt it's not a top tier dessert.
My first time trying magnolia bakery's banana pudding was last year. While it was not bad it didn't live up to the hype for me. I wasn't amazed by it at all so I haven't been back since. Buttt I saw for this month they have a cookies and cream banana pudding which I just had to try! I'm very glad I came back for it because mannn it is soooo good. I got a medium cookies and cream banana pudding since they were out of smalls but I guess it worked out because I loved it. Already thinking about coming back for this flavor before they switch it out!!
Oh my god best banana pudding of my life. There's really not much else to say. The chocolate cake is also great but my word get that flippin banana pudding. It's creamy, it's rich in the banana, it's got a little subtle soft crunch. It feels like you're eating a pillowy ice cream it's just so good.
